Conversation 7      My Village, SOCHEY

Lucy    : Good morning, Vibol ! Today you arrived at school first.

Vibol   : Oh, good morning, Lucy ! How are you now?

Lucy    : Not too bad, thank you very much, and how about you?

Vibol   : I’m so good, thank a lots. Today you seem more friendly, do you have anything to talk with me?

Lucy    : Certainly, I think we have known each other for ages, but I don’t know your village. Can I ask you some questions?

Vibol   : No problem, I’ll answer your questions happily.

Lucy    : Where do you live nowadays?

Vibol   : I live in Sochey village.                                 

Lucy    : Oh, where is it, near or far from here ?

Vibol   : It’s between Chamka Andoung and Svay Chuor villages and it is also far​ from here.

Lucy    : How far is it from here?

Vibol   : It is about ten kilometer.

Lucy    : How do most of the people there make their living?

Vibol   : Most of them are farmers planting rice crops, some of  them are sellers and the other are civil servants .

Lucy    : After  graduating primary school, and a few come to study here .

Vibol   : Thank you for your replies. Finally I have one more question to ask you. What do your parents do?

Lucy    : My father is a farmer, and my mother is a seller.  

Vibol   : Thank  you  again  that you spend your precious time to  covers  with  me.   

Lucy    : You’re  welcome .
